Actually, the video looks meh, with players doing the same pass to winger to cut back or cross again and again and if you look closely to the ball, there are a lot of strange gremlins happening now and then.

He just can't play, turns into traffic, holds down sprint, doesn't look to slow down or look around, never uses 1-2s...just amateur.

Guys! In Bulgarian site, online shop pointed out a date for PES 2010 : 16.10.09

I talked to people from this site . They said that " Distributor was asked this date . Distrubutorite are people who draw things from the factory and send them , their dates are always true . That does not mean that they are sometimes changed "

I think PES10 should release a week earlier. Dont think launching the some day as Forza 3 would be the best thing to do.

Agreed. Very odd timing, as Forza has racked up an incredible number of pre-orders already.

PES 2010 - 89%

FIFA 10 - 90%


They say in single player the ML of PES 10 shades the MM of FIFA 10.

Also they say PES 2010 has made the biggest improvements over the two games, but state they felt FIFA 10 was ahead after last year, therefore didnt need make as big of an improvement.

They say PES 2010 graphics and player models far surpass FIFA 10's zombie-esque renditions.

They also say that they scored PES 2009 way to high last year, and got stung by the pityful online play. They feel FIFA have improved their player individuality. ( It's still for me light years away from PES 2010 though IMO )

They say the ML is brilliant and where they will spend most of their time, but they said they will considering 'cheating' on their beloved PES 10 as FIFA is very good this year.

They say that PES 2010 is bug free, no more glitches, cheap cutback goals etc, no more freezing.

They also say that people that got dis-illusioned with PES 2009 and it's arcade nature will feel a real return to form with it's latest simulation based offering.

They say it's all down to preferred tastes and even the most loyal PES fans may give Fifa a go this year. And likewise, the Fifa men in the PSM3 office who have looked upon Konami's recent offerings with disdain have been curiously checking PES 2010 out.

I certainly wont be buying FIFA 10, but it certainly looks like an excellent improvement over last year. It's just not my cup of tea. Especially after playing the WE 10 demo last night with my best mate and old school PES fan for a solid 7 hours straight. Man, this game is so bloody addictive.

Not really mate. They did touch on the sticky button situation, but that was pretty much all they mentioned. I personally have very little problem with this now anyway, especially after hammering the WE 10 demo. I did have major concerns over this off the PES 2010 demo though.

@Jimmy, Is there information about the online Mode?

They havent had chance to play online yet with either FIFA 10 or PES 2010. They know FIFA 10's will be faultless though, as expected. They said, more news coming soon with regards PES 2010 online. I guess that will be in next months edition.

I had no reason to believe PES 2010 would score higher than FIFA 10. It means nothing to me what reviewers say mate. I'm my own judge and jury. If I took notice of reviews I'd have spent the last 12 months playing FIFA 09. Instead, I spent more time than I ever have on a PES title, and thats saying something.

It's not the best decision by Konami. I mean, unless you are a PES addict, what game do you think is more worthy of £40? I've got both on pre-order so it's going to be an expensive week, but if it came down to a choice I would be picking up Forza 3 on day one and waiting for PES2010.

Also, I think Forza 3 may be releasing early as it seems everyone wants to keep the hell out of the way of November when Modern Warfare 2 comes out.

any word on the ability to import chants in edit mode, i read each team could use 5 mp3 of chants and import them in using usb but knowing xbox 360 that will be mainly for ps3 users

It is but I did enjoy PES2009 more than FIFA09 but FIFA is technically the better game with the next generation movement, animations and what not. I would've been worried if they gave PES a higher score than FIFA tbh.

I think it is clearer now more than ever that the football game you decide on is down to preference, for all it's splendor FIFA lacks in certain departments for a PES fan and vice versa.

PSM3's last PES vs FIFA comparison was quite shamelessly bias; I would take their commentary with a cup of salt. When does the embargo end and a flurry of reviews commence?

They scored PES09 88 and Fifa 83 which says it all for me. PES10 is much improved but only gains 1 point to 89 while Fifa isnt much improved but jumps 7 points to 90.

I seriously dont know where the longevity is with MM mate, when all the teams and players feel very similiar, with little or no variations in individuality ?

I'm sorry but saying we scored PES2009 too high is a copout. Why did they score it too high? Were they not playing the same game as everyone else? Those guys scored PES2009 high just for the simple reason they had to score it higher than Fifa.
