What does the 'backline' in Tactics Settings mean? A-B-C

this setting dictates how high/deep your D-line defends. C being very deep, A very high. someone correct me if im wrong

A-B-C determine how strictly the team will apply it to their strategy.
Counter-Attack-A means whenever the team gets the ball your player will go forward rapidly
yep but in backline it also represents the "deepness" fantomas refered to. If you use "A" your defence will defend closer to the midfield and B or C. Has highs and lows.
so...
C = deeper defend
A = raise high for attack support
