Weird moments...in the game

Just thought about sharing some of the weird moments during the game in PES4....
+I won 3 penalties in a match against Barcelona :shock:
+The opponent winger sends a cross to my penalty box and there are no opponent strikers in the box except my defender....the cross was a slow one and i thought everything is safe... guess what.....my defender heads the ball towards the goal and almost scores an own goal.. :applause:

champions league final ...score was nil-nil...(lost a few games in the final before and was pissed off)..anyway Rooney gets a chance to score from just a few yards out....what does he do...shoot at the right post....i say say f***... he remains at the same spot and the ball is passed back to him and what does a man who is given a second chance do....shoot at the left post...i couldnt help but clap my hands in contempt....hmmm but i managed to win the game 4-1 against juventus (difficulty 6*)

i was playing a game in the master league, c. ronaldo was charging into an opponent they both buckled and the opponent got the ball. he turned around and for no reason kicked the ball at ronaldo. ronaldo fell to floor and the opponent regained the ball and ran off. there was no one behind ronaldo so it wasn;t a pass.

I had a funny/weird moment the other day when Reyes ran in to pick the ball out of the net and bumped into one of my players and it interupted the animation, he was just stood with his legs apart and sort of skidded back to the half way line with the ball at his feet.

I had Olembe got called offside yesterday. Thats not that surprising... except for him being in a 2 man free kick set piece, where the ball was tapped to him.... And the freekick was 40 meters from goal. It was ridiculous.

i was xabi alonso in training, i did the chip up thing, the ball chipped up, stuck to his foot, then he flew in mid air for about 2 seconds across the box. i saved it, it was rather amusing.

Today I gave away a freekick about 30m from goal and the CPU chipped in a cross which went flying into the goal at a very low speed while everyone including my keeper stood still and watched the ball fall into the net.

Its the second time this has happened to me.

I scored two almost identical goals last night as Baros for Czech vs Latvia - both 32/34m blasters into he top left hand corner, over the keepers head.

The best goals I've EVER scored and two of them in one match, within a minute of each other!!!

Robbie keane was fouled in the penalty box and gets a penalty and his shot was saved by the keeper...the ball fell off a few yards to the left of the goal post...Robbie keane gets to the ball first but there is no way he can turn and shoot from there....i understand that and the opponent defender understands that too...so what he does is... foul robbie keane again at the penalty box ...this time robbie keane scores....the opponent coach must be proud of his boy:D

Playing online (pc), havent lost a game until 2 days ago.
Played against a supposedly excellent player.
The bloke didn't stand a chance, I had about 20 shots on goal and some really big chances, but the ball just would'nt go in!!
Then 83. min, I went 1-1 on the keeper with Adriano, Ifeinted the keep, went solo on the open goal, tapped lightly on the shoot button,Adriano shot with his favourite left leg and..........THE BALL WENT OVER THE BAR WTF!!!!!!!!

Then he get's one lousy half chance and the ball goes in, goodbye winning streak #-o

he was on tho that so he did the up-down thing with the right stick, u know the chip up move, and the ball went in a straight line into orbit!!

This idiotic bug seems to have missed the eyes of Pro Evo Soccer creators....The ball is hit by opponent and the balls seems to go out for a throw-in. It is a throw-in for my team...but wait before the ball goes out....my player runs to it and touches it and makes the throw-in against my team...WTF!!.....In the later versions of PES this bug occurence has been reduced but not eliminated...

The game has many bugs like : Going through player when you shoot somtimes, and somtimes when you shoot it lands on the top netting but its a (GOAL) even though i won, its was weird.

I've kind of felt this before, had a team full of reds but they couldn't hit a barn door from two paces.

It seems ok when there are one or two but when there are a lot of them it seems to fuck up a bit. I've actually taken to regulating their condition if they are all too good.

You mean there was already a keeper in goal, and he ran onto the pitch? A one man pitch invasion?

Perhaps he thought he was the better keeper, and that he should have been picked to start. Taking matters into his own hands, after a heavy boozing session, he rushed the pitch to intervene in play, promtly sticking 2 fingers up at his manager and the officials. He then handled the ball outside the area, shouting "Kopfer! Kopfer! Das ist fur mich!" before attempting to kick the ball into Row G of the stands. Instead, he falls arse over tit in a drunken heap.....the stewards then removed the inebriated Austrian as he muttered curses, gyrated his fist in the general direction of the bench.......

Dude i dont think its really a bug.. just like when you give a through ball.. PES players are running on a pre-dETERMine path it seems and only way to control them is by using super cancel (R1 + R2). This happens to all of us and you have to use R1 + R2 to control him to get away from the ball ;) otherwise idiot goes and touches it and makes it their throw in :mrgreen:

I scored a goal yesterday, only to see that as i was dribbling in, their keeper was hanging about the 18 yard line, just ball watching. Pretty damn weird. That's the only time i've seen that happen. I hope it doesn't occur again either.

This the beauy of PES my friend. There are players out that that suit you better than you might think, or their stats might suggest. Likewise a supposedly great player can be disappointing. I've had 2 flops in my playing time of the PES/WE series. I've also had players with very humble (white) stats playing out of their skins.

Get to learning R1 + R2 my friend since if you want to improve your game.... using it will put you one-step ahead in your game. It's the most necessary thing in the game SUPER CANCEL... dunno honestly how still some people don't know about it since without using it, it's impossible to be a top PES player because many times you need to take control of your player to INTERECEPT the ball passed to you before defender gets it because if you dont use Super cancel (R1+R2) , player will just run on pre-determined path and defender many times will catch ball if you dont grab the ball first. Apart from being absolutely necessary my friend, you can also use it to do some very cool off the ball moves to fool defenders and yell out the words WOWWWWWWWWwww.... to PES.

I lost my champions league semifinal yesterday to Man Utd...in penalties....i felt sick after the match....disgusted!
I have to sympathize for Bayern Munich when they lost to Man Utd in the Champions league final 1999....geez...cant imagine myself in their shoes....when you consider the way they lost the match...
What i felt weird in my match yesterday was...when i am taking the penalties...i felt like Tim Howard knew which way i gonna shoot....smell some cheat here...he saved 4 of my shots aimed at far corner of the goal post....while i saved 3 shots, thats because they kept shooting at the center and i never moved my keeper....

Im playing two player ML with my mate, as Milan vs Madrid, and we couldnt beleive the goalmouth scramble we had. There were loads of players in the 6 yard box, one of our players stuck his leg out, and hit the ball goalwards. It deflected off an opposition player and hit the inside of the post and bounced across the goal line, with Casillas diving but failing to get it. Carlos on the post smashed it off the line, it hit Casillas' head, hit underside of the crossbar and got cleared. It all happened within a split second. We couldnt believe it, and ive never seen anything like it.

The other day I was playing as Real Sociedad. And Nihat scored on 30 minutes, but he got injured later on after 50 minutes and he had bandages on his knees. I won 1-0, and when i watched the highlights he had bandages on his knees when he scored in the 30th minute even tho he wasnt injured yet.

One game, me and my cousin had 4 penalties against Man UTD, and only 1 shoulda been given.

Funniest thing I ever seen was our keeper, he wasnt in our goal and we had to sub him, but as we were passing the ball up the pitch we seen him running back, so we had to cancel the sub :)

Dont know what the hell he was doing, it wasnt even near the end of the game when they come up for a corner, but it was funny anyway.

And we also paused and watched a replay but it didnt show the keeper at all, only the one for the other team.

And the most I ever got for ratings was an 8, and that was for Recoba scoring 5 and assisting 1, on 6 stars..

I have only ever seen, maybe 4 or 5 8's in all my time playing the game, because the ratings are nothing short of shit.

I have had people scoring 3 goals and getting a 7, while the CPU score 1 and the scorer gets a 7.5, its retarded.

Same with defenders, people who touch the ball 6 times get a 7, while people who touch the ball 29 times and score 2 get a 6.5, whats the point?.

'Super cancel' is useful for me....others i dont think i need them...cos my playing style is EPL way....i rely on passing more than dribbling...

Last 2 seasons been playing on 3stars-difficulty and 1st season was treble and 2nd season was double winning seasons...

This season i upped the difficulty to 6stars....dont find things that easy now on this patched version...My players who are injury tolerance B get injured almost every game now....

I was 2-0 down and got one back late in the game, so my goalscorer ran into the net to try and pick the ball up. That happened to me too, but my guy did a better job... he actually scored a *breathtaking* (own) goal. I think the defender was Weller... an old, crappy player that I bought because I was just about to end the negotiation period and -due to a minor miscalculation- had only 3 defenders in my whole squad :roll:

another match with inter, another (really) funnny situation.
Concerning offsides. I got teh most stupid offside ever!
Here is how it all happened. Playing with inter, Vieri got tackled and got an injury and he went for treatment. He was receving treatment on the bench, and my bench was in the side of the opponnent. I continued play, and made a mistake and pressed X when i was attacking and the ball went in the direction of vieri, of course the ball got out of play before it could reach him, but guess what OFFSIDE. In the replay all i saw was Vieri lying on the ground ouside of the pitch.

I played against liverpool and then later played juventus....the common thing in both the matches is....the com cheats. My player runs and is clearly pushed...its an obvious foul but NOT given by the Ref. On the other end, the opponent runs with the ball and my player just 'touches/ makes slightest of nudge' and its a free kick. It happened so often in the game that i lost count...You can say the com is cheating without even blinking your eye....

Well, I had a nice and UNLUCKY moment with Beckham. With him, i did a very nice shot from outside, the ball first hit the RIGHT post, then hit goalies back, then hit the right post AGAIN, and then vertically went through ENTIRE goal line, and hit the LEFT post and someone cleared the ball...

I was like *damn* *WOOHOO* * damn...damn...damn...*

...DAMN!

But just recently, one match after, with Arce (HE ROCKS! haha :D) i scored an AMAZING goal from about...35+ meters. It was just amazing. I LOVED the way goalie pitifully tried to catch the ball but...haha...

Well, I had a nice and UNLUCKY moment with Beckham. With him, i did a very nice shot from outside, the ball first hit the RIGHT post, then hit goalies back, then hit the right post AGAIN, and then vertically went through ENTIRE goal line, and hit the LEFT post and someone cleared the ball...

I had something similar happen to me except it was Rooney. I scored a few minutes later though.

A couple of games I've played against my mates have went to penalties. The strangest things is even though this has happened loads of times, in 2 seperate games my goalkeeper (....always me!) has no hands!! (..just 2 stumps!) And yes I did lose on both occasions. It must be a bug with the gloves! Using a patched version.

I love and loathe this game. It can be great but it can also be very frigging frustrating. Sometimes you concede a goal and it’s not even your fault. Like when it’s a throw-in near the goal. Defenders sometimes aren’t even marking or even standing close to the opposing player, so you could just quickly throw it to your player, cross the ball in hastily and score. How the hell am I suppose to defend that, eh?

Some weird moments that happened while I was playing this game and this is only in the past few days:

Dida day dreaming and letting the opposition score from the half way line and not even attempting to make a save, though the shot went only inches above his shoulder.

Buffon (Buffoon) facing his own goal when the cross is delivered, making him blind to everything, yet, somehow, after Inzaghi connects with a header, he miraculously turns around and pulls out a world class save.

Corner Kick. I'm Juventus and I'm defending. The corner comes in, there are 5 defenders at the back post, and they’re all marking Adriano and Martins, leaving Cordoba free at the near post letting him score with the utmost ease.

Then there’s Pierre Enume, isn’t he the worst referee ever? The guy can’t get a single decision correct.

The other weird thing is with the throw in and free-kicks. Say Vieri was to come down to defend a corner and he collects the ball outside his area and then gets fouled. Why does he have to take a free-kick from back there? The number of times I have to press pause and select a different thrower or kicker is ridiculous. Why can’t someone who is playing in that zone take it? It’s the simple things that they (Konami) do wrong which makes it furthermore frustrating.

I can’t wait for MGS3. I’ve had enough and I’m not taking anymore BS from this game.

Me and my mate were playing co-operatively(We were Celtic against Liverpool),and I get the ball on the wing and cross it in-
Instead of there being one of his players there is one of mine who heads it off the post.The same guy then smacks it again and it comes back off the keeper.My mate was literally on the line and then he hit :circle: instead of :square: and ended up kicking the ball backwards over his head,thereby missing from on the line.

I've seen the keeper jump INTO the goal to save the balls a few times. One time he caught it and got down on the ground on his knees and elbows to protect it, but his whole upper body was over the goal line.

Pele was one on one against the GK...he dribbles past GK and is few yards away from the goal ....an open goal...but he shoots at the goal-post and the rebound is taken by the keeper...the match was a draw...i was in shock cos i did take all the time in the world to shoot...but pele misfires a sitter.... I kept playing the next match still thinking how the hell pele missed it...then a similar incident occured ...this time it was Javi Gurriero (spelling?)....wow! back to back piss-offs..

i Was playing my friend he was liverpool and i was real madrid

it wa\s the 80 th minute and i was losing but the score was 0 - 0 i hadnt really had a goos hot and casillas was keeping me in the game so i decided i'd bring on liverpool old boy micheal own i jus turned to him and sed hes gona score against his former club ..first attack wiht him caranger munched him and he went off injured .... then in the 89th minute i cleared the ball formt he area just as he was coming bakc ont he pitch ...there were no defenders in sight and no players then micheal comes formt he side line i hald :square: till the bar was full CRACK ! :shock: ...... NET BUSTER \\:o/ .. form literally 2 step past the half way line :lol: lol I cried it was sucha beast lol .... serious it wasnt like long distance lob it was LOW FAST AND FUKKING POWERFUL lol and i won :D ha :D

Goal keeper just caught the ball jumped THROUGH the post okay thats into the post and clean through the other side .. got up and i rolled the ball to the defender THEN ... GOAL :( wtf ... erm i jus took a gola kick how is it a goal GLITCH :(

Last night I was playing against my friend, and my keeper straight up tackles one of his guys. So a yellow card... no big deal, right? Then in the 80th minute, another one of his guys comes dribbling the ball up, the goalie jumps on the ball, sending the player flying to the ground. Another yellow card!! So 2 penalty kicks, 1 dismissed keeper. Why can't this guy keep his hands to himself??
