Player blacklist for Xbox Live

Please post gametags who leave games when getting beat in this thread so others know not to play them.

Lets try and make it as hard as possible for these cheaters to get a game.

Would be a good idea members of other PES/WE forums to start a simalar thread in there forums.

Might be a good idea to make this a sticky.

Its pathetic when that happens. Im afraid its the same in FIFA ( sorry to mention the "other" game) online too. Its happened to me many times. Thats why closed leagues are better. At least you know who you are playing and I hope the behavior will be better.

One of the best things about PES is the ability to 'do a real life' and completely turn the game in the last few minutes - the pressure is on, your opponent makes a silly mistake....3-1.....he thinks, bah, 3-1 with 5 minutes to go...no chance....but wait, it's a penno...you have the chance to go one behind...3-2. Doubt enters his mind, he begins to sweat, you attack, attack, attack....you're through....you innevitebly blow it....but the chance is always there.

We could add "confirmed" if more than one person reports that this person has disconnected. That way we're going to know if the person we're playing has potential for being a big girl or not as they'll be on this list anyway for disconnecting once.

maybe also you could put what situatuation they left, like if there 3 down at 70mins, then its more than liekly they left coz theyre faggots, but in other circumstances, i sometimes get disconnected from my braodband if someone in my house uses the upstairs phone, therefore i cannot help that if i did get disconnected. i also enjoy tryna come back from being a few goals down, as rare as it happens, it feels so much better comin from behind to win a game.

in al the games that i played i had one time that the xbox freezed but i don't know if it was against you but i am not a cheater believe me

and on the other side now i am thinking about it i don't like people calling me cheater but shit thing is i dont no if you are the person where the box freezed so i cannot so much

I think to list all "quitter" is a no go in the end. I use to play NFL Madden online for 4 years now, they do have a lobby called "EASO" which is simmilar to the xbox live thing we now have with PES4. It's a fact that the straight and mature guys don't play there as it's a waiste of time - either ppl (kids) use a gameplaybug till it bleeds or they simply quitt a game once they think they can't win anymore.

You will always find the best ppl to play with in leagues, or on such boards like this one here - it's a simply rule - don't play guys you don't know or you will get a quitt out in 90% of all games.

Is there a way to edit your gamertag, so ppl can see that they come from a certain league or internetforum on xbox-live?

The whole "people losing their connections" situation only seems to happen to those people who are losing, I think that alone says something about the number of sore losers who play on LIVE.

I believe that me, Classic, babs and Holio were complimented on our stickability even when we were getting humped on Halo on Friday night. The other team said that most people that got pasted like that wouldnt have stuck around

Well this isn't a final thing, we're merely putting people on the list who have dropped, and even then we have said that getting a confirmation (of subsequent drops) is what we need to know if one of these guys is truely a sore loser.

They're free to come in here and defend themselves and prove that they're not a dropper, this list just helps people in maybe avoiding that "open" game in the Live menu that looks tempting but might leave a sour taste in your mouth after you score your 3rd goal with 20mins to go and the bastard quits.

This sounds like Top Spin. I play agaisnt people who are ranked in the top 100 and on the few occasions I might actually win they disconect. No wonder their rate is 95%.
What is the point in going on line and quiting if you are losing? Where is the fun and competion in that?
I thought they programed it so that if someone did disconect the other person would win.

Hey, it's Konami we're talking about here, why do some work when you can do a lazy port? They haven't even bothered updating teams either, so we're stuck playing online with Cannavaro at Inter, Zlatan at Ajax, etc until next friggin' Christmas.

Thats unforgivable. I cant believe they haven't taken a day out of the two months since the close of the transfer window to actually move the players to their proper clubs (taking into account the game has probably been done for thelast 3-4 weeks).
We all knew Konami had a tendency to not do certain things, obvious things at that for whatever reason, but not updating player transfers that were completed at the end of August for a game released in the last week of Novemeber is criminal! Also then to not include downloadable content for roster updates (which was included from WE6:FE in Japan for PS2) is like a smack in the face.

I think I shall let them know my feelings in a nice email next week.

I think I read somewhere that Konami will release auto updates every so often, could have just been a rumour though.

What i always do before we start is say to the people if they are experiencing lag the 5 first minutes please quit the game. They all say yes.

However 2 persons just left the game when they were facing a 2-0 in 20 minutes, those names are bigGENERAL NL and Infamousknave. Both were higher than me on the ranklist.

I played a last game.. against someone which name starts with Gre. I was losing with 2-1 in the second half and then my mother turned off the main computer who gives the signal to the xbox ](*,) so .. GRE something .. sorry.. just add my gamertag and we will play it all over.. if you read this.

"I would like to surguest that there is a 3-0 loss rule implemented on PES4 on xbox live when a player leaves before completing the game, its not fair on the player that is winning that he does not get a win on his stats when the other player deliberatly leaves to protect his stats.

I would also like to point out that there is already a balcklist going around the internet naming and shaming these player who leave, so i can tell you now there is a strong feeling amongst the Pro evo community against these cheaters. "

Because they don't want to have a loss registered as it will affect their ranking. Unfortunately this means people who win games get nothing for beating them, and it goes back to how it was before the match began. I have been told you still get points for losing, although obviously not as much (and it will still show as a loss).

Basically it's cheating, and I would say I have played twice the number of games that I'm officially shown as having played - there are a lot of cheaters. But, there are also good folk, I beat someone 7-1 today, and to his credit he stuck it out. I can't wait till Friday when loads more people who I know won't cheat get the game.

All of us just know like in other games, that cheaters allways be top ranking.
I just enjoy playing each game even if I loose some times but... that's life.

I've lost a lot when I use to play the first day with the xbox pad, but then I bought myself an adapter and I win quite every games!!!
That damn Xbox pad is not compatible with PES4 at all (for me)

I have to say that I coud even be on this list cause I disconnect 2 times (once I was winning and the other time it was 0-0). I have two small kids and had to take care of one of them at those moments! Sorry for my opponents!

It should really only count if they're losing and quit in 89-90th minute or straight after a goal...

So we played and i was up with 3-0 in the 70th minute.. HE QUIT ON ME!! We were talking about quiters etc and he did it! this is so lame..... I had much lag when i played away and so did he when he played away but i never stopped!! even when i lost i didnt stop! Why o why...... did you do this?

jesus christ, calm down. the game just froze with the ball still moving, then it said you disconnected and went back to the menu. if i had wanted to quit, i would have done so like half an hour earlier when you scored your third goal. :|

it was also the only connection drop that evening, and the lag was noticeably worse than with anybody else i played. are you sure you're on a 6 Mbit connection? :shock:

That match was a little laggy for me also, how were your matches when I hosted Ike? Elite, I can't see Ike being a cheater if he made a site for the game (http://www.evo-league.com/), and is a moderator on this site, plus he didn't disconnect with me. It sounds like an error (last night the game crashed twice with me, not in-game but on the menu).

I have to say that the person for whom my simpathy goes in this thread is deuce...
I also have two litle kids and i can imagine myself playing online (and losing i never made a secret of the fact that i'm probably evo-web worst player) and one of my kids needs something...well i would quit the game immediately...Of course there are enough self-centered litle pricks who think there ranking is much more important than my kids and i would end up on a black list....
I i would play online, i would play with people who "know" (i.e. forum members that i somehow trust, and ther are plenty of them) and i would tell them in advance that i could have to quit the game for my kids. I'm not sure how many people would trust me and believe me that i really would quit because of my kids (and i wonder how many who are reading this are tempted to use this an excuse if they are in dire need, quite a few of them are now outraged about other "quitters...").

I understand that people feel cheated, but i only wanted to put things in perspective...if you would have kids you would understand (says granddad).

i think the same vice versa. quite laggy, but smooth overall. i had this 'smooth' lag more or less in every game i didn't host (about ten games), but against Elite it stuttered constantly throughout the whole game.

I mentioned this very fact early on, you just dont know for sure why the other people "quit" the game. They could be thinking the very same themselves. There is a very likely possibility that they have no clue as to this board or website. So if someone is minded of reporting someone else - i think the decent thing is to tell them that if they quit - they will be reported to one of the biggest pro evo website for reference.

Anyways - the game isn't out yet so I really think we need to be care who's gamertage we post.

I also second gerd comments about kids, I have one and if they are playing up or whatever u need to see to them - like there and then.

I'm not a quitter, and make no excuses and if u think I am - then u are wrong. For example - Even though I had no chance of going through to the finals in the National League, I finished all of my 20 games, unlike most who quit after realising it was not possible.

No one is saying everyone who's on this 'list' is guilty, it's when the same names pop up over and over again you know to avoid that person. All this list does is show who drops out when losing, no point reporting people who are beating you then drop out, etc.

I was playing someone there, very tight match and with the score at 0-0 on the 70 minute mark he passed back to his GK, who promptly let the ball roll into his own net. Immediate disconnection, IMO that is pretty darn obvious that he's cheating.

Oh yes, another thing happened to me this afternoon. I played a guy called 'Modena 46' twice, beating him 1-0 on Silver Goal then 3-0 in a rematch. At the end, he highlighted 'Play Again With Same Teams', but I wanted to leave the game so I pressed 'End Match'. He wouldn't move from play again, and instead of just going down to end match he bloody disconnected. I think the game counted it however, but it just shows the mentality of some folk.

Let's hope all these crashing and freezing problems are fixed soon with a patch, because it does seem that some people are being labled as cheaters unfairly. Like was said earlier in the thread, maybe a 3 strikes and your listed system is the best - or is that already in effect?

At least with the whole thing about the host having the better end of the stick can be applied to the evo-web league. Player who is designated as the Home team when the draw is done up will have the advantage in most cases as they should Host... and playing Away will prove difficult.

Only problem is I guess is that if we all play each player once in our divisions then that only gives some people eg. 7 home games and 6 away. in a div that has 14 peeps. And others would have 6 and 7.

i think the same vice versa. quite laggy, but smooth overall. i had this 'smooth' lag more or less in every game i didn't host (about ten games), but against Elite it stuttered constantly throughout the whole game.

if there is lots of lag, which makes the game unplayable then i would tell the person im playing with, regardless of the score, that im quitting and would see if they want a rematch. why should one person suffer with the lag and the other not, therfore one of the players has a clear advantage and will have more chance of winning. i couldnt stand playing a game with lag, especially not such a good game as pes4, where u need full control.

Talking about lag: Howmuch time does the gameserver need to find out if somebody disconnects?

Suppose it takes 30 seconds or so, your opponent may already have disconnected (because of severe lag, or so) and you in fact are playing against nobody for those 30 seconds. So you may score easily in that period.
After that the server tells you it has finally detected that the opponent has gone and you think he has disconnected because of the goal, which is NOT the case....
Howmany time has this happen....? Howmany players ar on our blacklist for this reason...?

You can tell when someone disconnects, it's very apparent because you can see their selected player not chasing.

Maybe you guys should emphasise quitters who were also hosting the game? That way they wouldn't be able to use the lag excuse.

It's starting to look to me that maybe this can't be fixed. Elite and Ike were both told that the other player disconnected. If this is true, then Live probably doesn't know who quit first. It also probably doesn't know the score or progress of the match untill players enter the post-match screen.

I don't know how Xbox patches work, but this looks like the kind of problem were Konami would have to have some foresight to be able to fix. Public displays of Konami foresight are few and far between. I suspect that each game reports the score to Live as it would to an offline Cup or MasterLeague. It might report the score at half time but nothing more. Then again, Konami might be able to change what is reported in the disconnect message.

Exactly, I never said he was "definitely a cheat", but all disconnects are reported here so they can be confirmed or not.

btw, the other games he played were far closer, this last game he was being totally shagged, it was 5-0 before HT. I'm not saying it doesn't happen accidentally, but when someone quits immediately after losing a goal it's suspicious.

Also i think we r entitled to quit sometimes if the game is very laggy but in most cases its perfectly playable and sometimes its near perfect. I also feel there is no shame in losing so why quit? cos at the end of the day we all have bad days and im sure u have all had them, its part of human nature. This is getting so damn frustrating now! this is about the tenth person whos quit while i've been ahead. Played twice, first game he scored in the last minute and won, this was after i sportingly gave him the ball back after he stopped playing for about ten seconds. Second game i was 3-0 up into the second half.... quit out 10 minutes left!!! sorry for the rant but am getting so sick of this! Stay away from Major L !!!

Any of u guys ever played G3NOCIDE, hes a good player and tactical and very patient. I was playing him on his host first game i felt he got a bit lucky and he won 3-1, 2nd game we Drew 1-1 but on the 3rd game i was finally getting my revenge for the earlier defeat and was outclassing him, so i was through in goal to go 3-0 up he quits. I mean i thought just out of respect he wouldnt quit considering i didnt quit when i was losing but NOOOO this n00b just couldnt resist it purely cos he was outclassed. I just want to make sure u all know about this fool!!!!

Played a cpl of people who I cant remember last night and was having real issues with my connection. I had to turn off my whole system twice and consequently got cut out of 2 games. Both were 0-0 and quite early on. I apologise if any of you guys were playing me. Probs are now sorted so that wont be happening again, I was quite embarassed as I dont want to be labelled a quitter.

I did get a few games in and Gold3n Hunt3r quit on me in the 89th minute when I was 2-0 up. We had a 1-1 before that so he was just a sore loser.

tbh it easy to see if people are quitting due to lag or due to being sore losers - it all depends on the score and the time

i have quit games due to lag but always try and do so before 10-15 mins of the match has been played
