Since we dont have one of these i thought we could. If we already do have one, please lock this and direct me to it as i couldnt find it, ill start us off with this brilliant goal i scored with Vieira aginst England on my brand new game WE8 :mrgreen: , sorry about the shaking camera.

great goal, but unfortunately it looks very very shoddy in my opinion, i was hoping they would have reworked that animation. just an efortless shoddy swing, and the ball doesnt even go where his foot is aiming.

and flies right into top corner after he puts hardly any effort into it.


i see this is still in we8, but iv also seen good vids that convince me that there are good shots with the inside of the foot also.

but great goal nonetheless!

It's a very good goal from distance...for WE7. I wish they didn't have that animation in. It always occurs when you're running in the direction with someone's weak foot. Really shoddy.

That was one of the biggest things that pissed me off about the last game was the 'baloon' ball...
Ball looks heavier in this game, but people have been saying its hard to shoot... :x :x :x

Nothing wrong with the shot for me, I've seen people chip it like that, quit over-analyzing it (if you think it hit the net like a brick wall then go play Fifa it looks like that b/c Old Trafford has a tight net), but the keeper could have been better. This little stuff doesn't stop the game from being absolutely fantastic, and all this whining w/o having played the game is annoying.

If you think thats a stadard outside of the foot shot, then you've never played football in your life. He slices across it with his 'laces' and the ball chips towards the centre of the goal, and the keeper dives with his hands basicallly by his sides. If the keeper just reaches his arms out, he catches that shot, never mind saves it.

I still want this game more than any other, ever, and i'm sure it will be great, and no doubt the best so far. But that doesn't stop that clip looking atrocious.

And in the context of your statemen, the 'get over it' makes no sense.

Man, I hope it's DAMN difficult to score from that distance otherwise it's way unreal. That's one of the main reasons I don't play the fifa games, because of how easy it is to score goals from super far out. The fact that you say that happened on level five is discouraging :(

I think its fair to say there will be some annoying aspects in the game (slowdown, some dodgy looking shots etc - there always is) but im sure that the number of improvements to the gameplay overall will far outweigh these niggles.

So are you going to return the game when you get it? Why are you still wanting to see more of the game, when you don't think it's any good, even before you have played it. Yeah, it's gonna be one of those things that makes me think "BULLSHIT!!!" when it happens in the game, but plenty of stuff did that in PES3 (constant handballs, defenders who are shitty matching Ronaldo for speed), but I still play it all the damn time regardless of these flaws. From what I've seen and heard of WE8 it should be a better overall game with less annoying shit than PES3, but when you see stuff that wasn't broke, like the difficulty of scoring from near the halfway line, being "fixed" it is depressing and I don't blame people for being disapointed about it.

On the positive side though, maybe it's really hard to score those kinds of goals and they only go in once in like 50 attempts or if the keeper is REALLY off his line. Time will tell.

i think you guys must try to focus more on everything that improved, without playing it and feeling you cant judge,
ofcourse the gk could be better and the outside foot shots could be better, i think the big picture is that this game is one of the best out of the whole series, wait play it 3 / 4 days and judge
more fun that way

your henry goal is freakin' superb...everything from the run, the cut inside, the mud, the splashes of water and the finish...brilliant! Anyone who finds anything wrong with this goal must be seriously ill. And will you stop bitchin' about the keepers and the shots? Play some freakin' defence and just stop nagging. This is the greatest football franshise of all time...one of the greatest games of all time. It's so close to perfect that you can forgive all its niggles. And what's wrong with the shooting? Bothered by the 0.001% bad looking shots? I happen to play this game every day of every week, and i am amazed how each goal is different from the next one...thank your lucky stars about the improvements you get each game, and that Konami isn't EA (extra textures are called a patch, not a game)..

I think I've mentioned www.spymac.com before. Free 100mb webhost (not sure about the bandwidth but I haven't had much problems with it). You just have to sign up for the email account (make sure you fill in everything, even if you're giving fake info since they're not gonna check) then wait for 15-20mins for the ftp to be activated.

That Recoba free kick is really similar to one I did with Jankulovski - I love the amount of curl it gets.

It's not just you. I've been very impressed with the footage shown of the game. The animation is astounding, making it look very much like a real game of fotty. Some look awkward but the majority of shots, tricks and flicks look awesome.

I don't use any program at all to capture my goals, I record it with my digital camera and transfer the goals to my HD.

Use FlashGet or something. You can get about 40KB/s if nobody else is downloading. :)

It is the first time I saw it. Yesterday the comp scored a offside goal. You saw they were celabrate their goal but suddenly their faces changed because it was offside, after that you see the linesman. Really nice.

Here is one of our best goals so far. It was only on level 3, but it was still exciting!

This is from Friday night. It was one of the biggest goals my friend and I have ever made. We were in the opening game of the big cup, and the score was 1-1 in extra time. We were playing "Silver Goal". So they fouled us about 40 meters from the goal. I lofted up a beautiful chip pass into the box, and my friend did his magic after that! As you can see from the reply, he hit the header at the 104th minute, the end of the half was the 105th. Oh yeah!
